How would you rate Hughes Net Services?
Could you please share a success story about your experience with HughesNet?
“I have conducted several internet searches and unfortunately, I have not come across any positive reviews.”
“No, I don't think there are any available in our area because this Kansas company keeps limiting their services and using outdated equipment to provide them!”

Why did you decide to choose HughesNet instead of other similar businesses?
“They made a commitment to provide us with high-speed internet service "within a week," which was crucial for us due to time constraints. Additionally, their pricing appeared reasonable initially, but we soon discovered that without upgrading to the top-tier plan ($125/month), we essentially received no service at all.”
“Our neighbors informed us that there were no other alternatives available. However, this information turned out to be incorrect as there are definitely superior service providers in our vicinity now!”

How easy is it to contact customer service at HughesNet?
“Getting in touch with customer service is relatively easy, but unfortunately, they are completely ineffective when it comes to resolving any issues. During our 27-minute call, I spent a frustrating 19 minutes on hold. Their solution was to advise me to email customer support, but when I followed their suggestion, I received a response instructing me to call customer service again. It seemed like they were just passing me off to different representatives without actually addressing my problem. Eventually, they even requested that I fax a power-of-attorney letter, which seemed unnecessary and outdated, considering I was simply trying to cancel my father's service. It's hard not to view this as another delay tactic, especially since it's 2023 and finding a fax machine is quite a challenge. Overall, their customer service is extremely poor, and I haven't even mentioned their sluggish internet speeds. It's safe to say they are far from satisfactory.”
“The customer service experience I had was absolutely terrible. After being put on hold for three hours and then spending another hour with a representative, it was one of the most frustrating and time-wasting experiences of my life. It seemed like their only goal was to take my money without providing any assistance. If you want to cancel, I highly recommend getting a new card number to ensure they no longer have access to your account.”
“It's absolutely terrible. And, even if you manage to get in touch with someone to address the problems with slow internet speed and buffering, their response will likely be, "I can see that you have multiple Rokus connected to your system!" Yes, I may have a few TVs in my house, but I only use one at a time. This company might grasp the idea of customer service, but they fail to actually provide it. They consistently avoid dealing with complaints.”
“I'd prefer to undergo a colonoscopy than deal with the abysmal customer service at Hughesnet. If you ever encounter a problem, be prepared to set aside your entire day. They continuously subject you to their delightful call system, which lulls you into a trance with a repetitive melody, reducing you to a mindless, useless individual. Currently, I've been on the phone for two hours! I spent over an hour on hold with a supervisor, only to have them disconnect the call three times. This is their idea of problem resolution - a game of hide and seek!”
“It is quite easy to reach out to them, but unfortunately, they do not provide any assistance. I have been experiencing network problems specifically related to YouTube and have already spoken to four technicians, yet the issue persists. I even sought advice from a computer repair shop, and they informed me that my internet connection is faulty. In summary, their service is extremely unsatisfactory.”
